So much fun! Get fit quick, fast paced workouts, never boring or slow so your not wasting time, every day the workout is different. Hardest training I’ve ever done in the most fun gym I’ve been to. Couldn’t recommend more!
Our trainers continue to develop our mental agility so Jason and I are maxing our sessions alongside our 16year old son. Month 1, learn exercises bank some cardio- I wasn’t fit. They take care clients don’t get injured. Month 2 building on that + more confident with adding weight. They’re always watching technique is accurate. We have been training under Rochelle & Sharaf for one year now. Each of our family members are doing stuff we were sure we couldn’t and gaining confidence. 50 years old is just around the corner. In better shape than my 30year old daughter. It’s a good place! We did stuff today so that tomorrow we can do what others can’t our age!
I started my journey with Barbell Jungle in January 2016 as I was unhappy with how I looked and felt, I was at the heaviest I had been in my life and lacked motivation not to mention my self-esteem was at an all-time low. My friend and now Trainer Rochelle told me to come to a class and check it out. I made a deal with myself that I would give it 12 weeks of 100% commitment and see what happened. Rochelle and Sharaf met me at the gym on their day off and showed me basic movements and we took before photos and my weight so that I had a starting point and today I use those photos as a reminder of where I never want to be again. Day 1- I get a phone call at 5.30AM from Rochelle asking me if I was ready for my first class, I rolled out of bed and head to the gym. (These were a daily occurrence for a number of weeks) I was extremely nervous but there was no need to be, the people and trainers were welcoming and soooo helpful…..long story short it has been 2 years and I have lost 25kg and can lift weight I never thought I could, I am in the best shape of my life and I have never felt healthier, I love going into a shop and trying on a pair of pants and guess what….they fit lol. Rochelle and Sharaf are genuine people that care about what you want to achieve, they go the extra mile and help you with anything they can from exercise to diet to letting your frustrations out and the gym but most importantly a good laugh. I have been to a few gyms in my lifetime and this one has given me the best results and believe it or not I actually enjoy going….So if you are thinking about getting into fitness give it a go, what do you have to loose!!!!
I saw a photo of myself in togs and realised I was not in good shape. I decided to give Crossfit a crack and after a few months of blood sweat and hard work I am now in the best shape I have ever been in. Highly recommend it to anybody wanting to go right outside their comfort zone.
