Owner/Head Coach

Sharaf has extensive energy and a vast knowledge of all aspects of fitness. He has a successful CrossFit Box in Whangarei which originally started as  a Boot camp training facility and then evolved into CrossFit. The Whangarei business has now been operational for 11 years. There is not much that Sharaf does not know about health & fitness.  He is a Level 1 certified CrossFit Coach and his passion is to uplift, motivate, and push each person to their limits. He loves everything about fitness and enjoys sharing his passion with others.



Owner/Competition Coach/Programmer

Rochelle is very passionate about competitive CrossFit and is very well known in competition circles. She has competed and won both nationally and internationally over the past 6 years. Rochelle’s knowledge and expertise is second to none in Northland with her immense competition background, if you are a serious athlete looking to refine your sport, Rochelle is the coach to assist. Efficiency is key, strength & conditioning make up a part BUT mental toughness and mental preparation are often overlooked but are essential for success. Come along to one of her competition CrossFit classes and see what you are really capable of.



My name is Maddy I’m a qualified level 4 fitness trainer with an undeniable passion for Barbell Jungle Crossfit. My goal is for you to find yourself addicted to working out. I’ll safely coach you through incredible programming that will get you physically fit and inspired to push yourself to your best. We all start new so don’t be afraid to start. Barbell Jungle got me as a mum, well into my forties with three kids, into the fittest shape I’ve ever been in. I know we can do that for you too. I really look forward to meeting all new members, you are never too young and definitely never too old to get started.
